Worship
Children are welcome to attend part or all of the service in the sanctuary. At CPC, we believe that faith is caught, not taught. Part of “catching” the faith is learning the pattern of worship; listening to music, hearing prayers repeated, sharing sacred moments with parents. Noise is okay and a reminder that God is with us no matter our age! Encourage your children to follow along, sing hymns, or enjoy the children’s resources located at the back of the sanctuary. Kids and parents can pick up a special “children’s bulletin” each week.
Children lead the congregation in worship through children’s choir, acolyte candle lighters, seasonal children’s programs, and special readings and dramas.
8:30 Service
All children are invited to come forward for a special children’s message. After the children’s time, children are welcome to go to Nursery care in Room 104 or return to sit with their families.
