A new six-week study is beginning Sunday, January 20.
Did you know that when we hope for the impossible, it involves more than praying for God’s transcendent power? There are two components to every miracle: divine action and human responsibility. For a real miracle to take place, God expects us to apply our talents and abilities – acting with God to perform divine work. By examining biblical examples of how to use your God-given gifts for God’s glory, author and pastor Mike Slaughter helps you discover that you, too, were "Made for a Miracle." Join us Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The course will be led by Elders Francine Maestri, Jim Wrightson and Robert Mayer.
"Ask: Faith Questions in a Skeptical Age" is new study beginning Tuesday, January 22, 9:30 - 11:00 am.
In this thoughtful eight-week study, Bishop Scott J. Jones, author of "The Wesleyan Way," partners with his son, Rev. Arthur Jones, to address hard questions that all of us face when considering faith, religion and the church. The message is strong and clear - don't let your quesitons stop you from accepting God's invitatin to faith.
