Booking Your Wedding

Sanctuary for Wedding

Come and experience the welcoming charm of Clifton Presbyterian Church.

Whether it be the natural light of day filtering through our lovely stained glass windows or the warmth of candlelight aglow in an evening ceremony, our historic church is the perfect spot for a beautiful wedding in the country.

Nestled at the top of the hill in the quaint village of Clifton, Virginia, our picturesque church offers everything you and your guests may need to create a memorable wedding.

Our lovely sanctuary accommodates as many as 150 guests.  Our knowledgeable wedding hostesses are present at both your rehearsal and ceremony to assist you and your wedding party as needed, and will be happy to answer any questions that may arise as you plan for your special day. And, if you wish, we will provide pew bows, wreaths, wall sconces, unity candle holders, and various window decorations. All are available at no additional cost.

Adding to the enchantment of your marriage is the custom of the ringing of the church bell at the end of your wedding ceremony; its peals announcing to all, the beginning of your lives together.

We are certain that you will find the ambiance of Clifton Presbyterian Church the perfect place for you . . .  making your wedding all that you have imagined . . . creating memories that will last a lifetime.

We invite you to proceed with booking the Clifton Presbyterian Church Sanctuary for your wedding ceremony. The following instructions will assist you:

Bride and Groom

  1. Read and understand the Guidelines and Building Use Policy for Weddings and Religious Services
  2. Download, print, and complete these documents:
  3. Call the church office at 703-830-3175 or complete and submit the online Wedding Inquiry Form in order to receive verification that the church is available on the date that you are requesting. This must be done before filling in a date on the form.
  4. Complete and sign the application and agreement forms.  For a wedding, have your minister complete and sign Form A, including the pre-marital counseling section if the same minister has fulfilled this.  If a different minister or licensed counselor performs this function, they should sign in that section. If this is a vow renewal or marriage reaffirmation, have your minister complete and sign Form B.
  5. Mail or bring all three forms and a check for the security deposit, to the church office. All of these forms and fees must have been received by the church secretary for final approval of your wedding plans.

Please call or e-mail the office if you have any questions.
